Raise The Roof delivers new takes on songs from legends and unsung heroes of folk, blues, country, and soul music, with T Bone Burnett resuming the role of the album’s producer and backed by an all-star line-up of drummer Jay Bellerose, bassist Dennis Crouch, guitarist Marc Ribot and pedal steel player Russell Pahl, plus Viktor Krauss. Today also sees the single release of two tracks from Raise The Roof – Somebody Was Watching and The Price Of Love.

The run of outdoor shows includes stops at Summer festivals, including Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, London’s Hyde Park, Roskilde Festival, and more listed below. Meanwhile, beginning in June, Plant and Krauss will bring the music of 2021’s Raise The Roof, and 2007’s Grammy-sweeping Raising Sand, on their first international tour in well over a decade. The first show is at 4PM on Sunday 10th April on BBC’s 6Music.

Throughout April, UK fans will be treated to a specially curated radio show from Plant who will be taking listeners on a two-hour deep ride through musical landscapes full of aural treasures and hidden gems each week. Not content with having a hit podcast under his belt ( Digging Deep has a listenership of 3.2 million), Robert Plant has also turned DJ. Each episode will see Plant discuss some key tracks from his catalogue, with the season opener to feature Quattro (World Drifts In), the Calexico cover that kicks off Plant and Alison Krauss’ 2021 album, Raise The Roof. It’s been revealed that the season will kick off with a Led Zeppelin track, though the choice of song is being kept under wraps till the episode’s release.
The first episode of Season 5 will feature his collaborator Alison Krauss as a special guest and will launch on 18 April.
